Heavy Duty Wide Belt Sander
The combination contact drum/platen sanding head shares a
single belt but has a flat platen behind the contact drum. It can be
operated in three modes : 1)Drum only. 2) Platen only. 3)Drum and platen
in tandem. Thus , it can produce the characteristics of either the
aforementioned drum or platen heads or a combination thereof. The
combination head is usually furnished on single head sanders, but can be
furnished as one head of a multi-head sander.
